Mask Making Madness
Hello, Readers... How have you all been? I've been practicing my sewing skills and have managed to become much better with my practicing and making of face masks during this Corona-virus outbreak. Let me show you my first attempt at making a face mask which I hand sewn: The material I used as a middle layer and to act as a filter was too thick for my sewing machine. I opted to use heavy duty thread meant for jeans because of this. Despite being hand sewn, these masks turned out really well, have held up against several washes, and I think are quite pretty. Of course, hand sewing took a lot longer. Since the making of these, I've research other patterns and have switched between these and paper masks until I found just the right design to make.
