Staycation

Hello, Readers...

So much has happened since I wrote to you last. I had already planned to take the month of July off as that is the busiest month of the year for my family, but June got away from me as well! Let me catch you up...

I heard from my Pen-Pal and have been very pleasantly surprised with each correspondence. We have so very much in common and yet we truly met by chance. The universe works in such mysterious ways! I'll share a little glimpse with you of my first letter:

Another happy occurrence since I last wrote is the progress I'm making with my Girl Scout research. I managed to find information on my troop's council and have begun the process of acquiring badges, patches, and other insignia true to the time period when I was an active member. Pictures are coming soon so please stay tuned!

I've also learned about a few other happy past times that I plan to write about in the very near future such as bullet journals, the most adorable craft dolls, and the discovery of a birds nest. My new Pen-Pal is also educating me on many new things I'm very excited to share with you all.

For now, however, I must work to organize my writings.
