History in the making...
Hello, Readers...
Today, I watched the Space X rocket launch. It was amazing to see how clear the images were of the astronaut's consoles and of outer-space as they ascended. In times like these, this was the perfect balm for my soul.
Speaking of much needed salves, I received my first PenPal letter this week. I was so excited to have received the letter I had to re-read the starting sentences many times as I couldn't focus from such excitement. `I immediately wrote back and although I know it'll take a few days for a response, I already want to write again and share more. I think it's going to be a great experience.
Continuing on with the research discussion from previous posts, I have almost completed my Girl Scout search. I believe I have acquired the remaining missing pieces for my earned replacement sash. Also, I've made great progress with exploring my ancestry. Thanks to the Ancestry website, I've learned I have German connections. There will be much more to write on this topic soon.
I also completed the face masks I was sewing for myself and my husband. Photos will follow soon. For now, I'll leave things there until I have more time to describe my discoveries. How serendipitous things have been.
~Brittany
